Anastasia Berezowsky

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Anastasia is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s-level education from Yorkville University and undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Psychology from McMaster University. During her training, she has addressed a range of client issues including anxiety, depression, body image concerns, self-esteem, emotional regulation, among others. She specializes in supporting individuals who are navigating stress, burnout, and the relationship between mental and physical well-being. Her experience includes helping connect mental and physical health through strategies that support the regulation of digestive, hormonal, and nervous systems, as well as to enhance energy levels and mood. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered, combining talk therapy with somatic tools such as mindfulness, breathwork, and habit-based interventions.

In addition to connecting a mind-body practice, Anastasia supports clients navigating and repairing relational ruptures—whether in families, partnerships, or friendships—by fostering healthier communication, setting boundaries, and increasing mutual understanding. Drawing from both professional training and lived experience, Anastasia understands the complexities that can arise in family systems shaped by collectivist values, strong expectations, or challenging personality dynamics. She approaches these situations with cultural sensitivity and empathy, helping clients explore patterns, manage conflict, and develop strategies that protect their well-being while honoring important relationships. Through this process, clients learn how to rebuild trust, create emotional safety, and engage in relationships from a place of authenticity and self-respect.

Anastasia offers a safe, affirming space for all clients to feel heard, supported, and empowered. Outside the therapy room, she recharges in nature—hiking, skiing, and camping with her dog and within the city, she thoroughly enjoys strength and conditioning training to challenge her physical and mental strength. She brings this same grounded, adventurous energy into her therapeutic work.
