Roma Shah is a compassionate Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who leads with a warm, trauma-informed, and collaborative approach, she draws on psychodynamic principles, attachment theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients better understand themselves and create meaningful change.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, Roma spent over 15 years working in corporate and technology leadership. Her own experience with therapy and healing, along with a significant career transition, gives her a unique understanding of the challenges many clients face when navigating change, identity, and questions of what comes next.
Roma is particularly passionate about providing culturally responsive care to clients from diverse backgrounds, including immigrants and those navigating the impact of family, culture, and intergenerational experiences. She also supports individuals living with chronic illness and disabilities, including the emotional and practical challenges that can come with changes in health, independence, identity, and daily life.
She finds this work deeply fulfilling because it allows her to support others in the same way she was supported through her own journey with psychotherapy. Her joy is to witness clients reconnect with themselves, navigate difficult transitions, and come out on the other side of healing, creating lives that feel more authentic and peaceful.
