Dr. Hema Patel finished her residency in Family Medicine at Southern Illinois University. She was trained in comprehensive care, where her training allowed her to take care of patients at all stages of life whether that was a newborn that needed their first assessment in the hospital or a geriatric patient that needed to be seen in a nursing home. She is certified by both the American Board of Family Medicine and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She is an Ontario native and after residency decided to move back to Toronto and start practicing in her beloved city.

Aside from medicine she enjoys exploring different cities, playing volleyball and spending time with her family.
