Toronto, Ontario — January 9, 2026 — Today, the Government of Manitoba announced a significant restructuring of its nursing workforce strategy, transitioning from a broad network of private staffing agencies to a focused list of approved partners. As of January 15, 2026, only four private agencies will be eligible to support vacant nursing shifts at public health-care facilities — a move designed to improve care continuity, accountability, and resource allocation within the provincial health system.
Integra Health is proud to be selected as one of the approved partners under this new model. This development underscores our enduring commitment to ethical, consistent, and high-quality health-care staffing solutions.
“As health systems evolve to meet the demands of today’s workforce and patient needs, we remain steadfast in our mission to support communities that face critical staffing challenges,” said Dr. Sapna Sriram, CEO of Integra Health. “Our Travel Nursing program is purpose-built to deliver reliable care and meaningful professional opportunities for nurses while enhancing patient outcomes across Canada.”
