In this procedure, extremely fine, short needles are used to make surface-level pricks in the skin, which naturally prompts the body to produce collagen and elastin. At Integra SkinLab we use the eDermastamp by Dermaroller (which is Health Canada approved) with our Facial Microneedling procedure in combination with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar molecule. Hyaluronic acid has a unique property of binding with water on a molecular level, which helps to boost skin hydration and essentially plump up skin for an improved look and feel.
