Jesse offers a client-centered approach to her practice, with an emphasis on client strengths and the development of a therapeutic relationship built on trust and centered in healing and growth. Jesse’s therapeutic approach is informed by evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT and EFT, but is also adaptive and targeted to suit the individual needs of those that she works with. Jesse strives to create a connection that is authentic, nonjudgmental, and compassionate in order to collaborate with clients in working towards their goals and creating positive and meaningful change.
Jesse is a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a professional background in medical education at the University of Toronto as well as experience in clinical social work at both SickKids Hospital and Women’s College Hospital.
Jesse is a mom to young twins and is enjoying a whole new parenthood adventure. When she has time, she loves trying new restaurants in the city, spending time in nature, relaxing, and finding the best cup of coffee.
